MTTC Plus
Mat Teacher Training Course according to the guidelines of the German Pilates Association (DPV) and the ZPP (central testing body for prevention)

This course is an extension of our international Mat teacher Training Course MTTC with extra four module days. We are deepening the following contents: „Flow in a mat class“, „Mat with props“ and „teaching methodology- verbal and tactile cueing“, on the fourth day there is the briefing of the course concept for the ZPP (central teasting body for prevention).  The course concept is recognized by the ZPP which means you do not have to hand in your own class break down and documentations for the participants. However, for you to get recognized by the ZPP you need certain prerequisites such as a qualifiaction in physical therapy or as a sports teacher. In any case the fourse extra days provide you with a much deeper understanding and knowledge of the method and is always recommended. Course Details

The Mat Work Teachers Training Course is taught by members of the BASI® Pilates faculty in Host studios around the world. Courses are ongoing in multiple locations throughout the year. The course structure is modular with in total 10 course days plus an examination day and approximately 100 hours of study, practice, observation and apprentice teaching.

Due to sickness and other important reasons, a student may catch up on course modules missed, at any course location in Germany, Austria, Switzerland or Scandinavia, depending on availability.

All courses, no matter where they are held in our licence area, not only uphold the educational standards of BASI® Pilates, but also in some instances exceed these to comply with the requirements of the Pilates associations in the various licence areas, an important factor in deciding where you are going to start your Pilates education.
