Pilates in Standing – Mat Classes with even more Functionality, Balance and Variety

Standing is one of the elementary positions of human life. Training this position, both statically and dynamically, and the associated functions and resulting movement patterns associated is essential. Pilates is a wonderful whole body training method. If we look closely at the mat-only repertoire, we notice that the majority of the exercises are done lying down and only a fraction of the exercises are done standing. This workshop includes theoretical basics on functional anatomy and biomechanics and offers a variety of exercises to make mat classes not only more functional, but also more creative and varied.
