This 4-day online certificate course from the 13th to the 16th of May, 2021 takes on the Pilates session with a physical therapy approach. Utilizing the BASI Block System and repertoire from the Comprehensive Program, course participants learn safe ways to work with clients who suffer from some of the most commonly encountered pathologies and injuries via lectures, discussion, demonstrations, and practice.
Samantha Wood, MPT, MBA, PMA-CPT, RYT, is a licensed physical therapist and BASI Associate Faculty. She is co-owner of The Cypress Center in Pacific Palisades, California. For over 18 years, she and her staff have integrated Pilates with physical therapy for people of all ages and abilities. Her clinical expertise includes Pilates-based rehabilitation, yoga therapy, orthopedics, sports therapy, and functional rehabilitation.
